Nuclear energy’s contribution to climate change mitigation

The world’s nuclear reactors geneate around 10% of global electricity supply, Emissions per kWh, when considering full life cycle emissions are among the lowest in comparison to other clean energy options.

This event provided an overview to the historic contribution of nuclear generation to supplying electricity and helping to lessen the impacts of climate change, as well as looking to the potential contribution of nuclear energy to future greenhouse gas emissions reductions.
