@Yann, Have you looked into online tools? If you do a quick Google search on "remove sound from video" or "mute video", you may find plenty of free online tools that allow you to do exactly that. -- (talk) 16:14, 23 February 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Extracting a sound file from a corporate DVD production[edit]

Request
Hi, I need to extract a sound file from a corporate DVD production. The content on the DVD appears to be around 700 MB. Is this something you can help me with if I share the DVD files with you, e.g. through WeTransfer? --Gnom (talk) 22:03, 8 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Venezuela president recognition map[edit]

Article(s): en:Responses to the Venezuelan presidential crisis

Request
Hi! Users that are familiar with the topic know that the presidential crisis in Venezuela has been ongoing for four years, and it hasn't been until recently that it seemingly has come to an end. Naturally, this map: File:Venezuela president recognition map.svg has changed drastically since its beginning in 2019. To reflect these changes over the time, I've thought that an animated file, such as a gif, would be ideal. Are there contributors that could help with this? Many thanks in advance! --NoonIcarus (talk) 22:47, 12 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I forgot to ask: if possible, an important aspect to include would naturally be the date where the current frame stands. Thanks again! --NoonIcarus (talk) 10:20, 15 January 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Subtitling Video[edit]

Article(s): en:The_Devil_Bat

Request
Hi, I've recently found a video called "The Devil Bat". I've recently gotten into adding subtitles to it, but the media player that opens the video isn't very precise, it doesn't measure the milliseconds, different from the SubScript text thing it offers to use to add subtitles. I've already asked this question on the help desk, and a user suggested I try the Graphic Lab/Video and sound workshop. Is there something like an extension that can show the milliseconds/ zoom in onto the video-playing bar?

Rotating videos[edit]

Request
Can videos be rotated? They don't carry the usual options of commands to Rotatebot. If they can, this one needs rotating 90°, please! - MPF (talk) 10:46, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@MPF: ✓ Done. You may find free online tools like ezgif to be helpful for the future. --Designism (talk) 19:15, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Excellent, thanks! - MPF (talk) 21:31, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Unfortunately, the new version is cropped to just 4 secones, and is lacking the audio it had before? Can you check what's gone wrong, please? Thanks again! - MPF (talk) 21:34, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I am so sorry! I tried it again with multiple different tools, but there appears to be something wrong with the video's duration that's preventing me from exporting the video properly. I have reverted my edits. --Designism (talk) 23:41, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
